Restaurants
One three-star dining room in Chelsea — and a global group that grew out of it.
The flagship: Restaurant Gordon Ramsay
The center of everything is at 68 Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London. Opened in 1998 after Ramsay left Aubergine, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay earned its second Michelin star in 1999 and its third in 2001 — and has held all three ever since, one of the longest unbroken three-star runs in the country. It is a small, formal dining room serving classical French cooking of great precision: the clearest statement of what Ramsay believes food should be.
London
- Pétrus (opened 2001) — the flagship’s modern French sibling; it has held Michelin stars of its own, including two at its peak.
- Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s (2001–2013) — the celebrated and eventually acrimonious residency at the Mayfair hotel, which ended in a much-reported split.
- Bread Street Kitchen (2011) — the all-day brasserie that became the template for the group’s casual expansion, now with multiple sites.
- Lucky Cat — the Asian-influenced restaurant concept.
- Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, Street Pizza, Street Burger — the accessible end of the portfolio.
The United States
America began with Gordon Ramsay at the London in New York (2006), which won two Michelin stars — a rare achievement for a chef’s first US opening. Las Vegas became the second stronghold: Gordon Ramsay Steak, Gordon Ramsay Burger, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, and the Hell’s Kitchen restaurants, whose red-and-blue dining rooms recreate the television set. By February 2025 the group counted 35 restaurants in the US.
The wider world
Beyond the UK and US: restaurants in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, France, and elsewhere — 22 sites outside the two home markets as of February 2025, for a group total of 94 restaurants worldwide (PA News, February 2025).
The dishes
Certain dishes are signatures across the group. The beef Wellington — fillet wrapped in mushroom duxelles and puff pastry — is the most famous, served in several restaurants and endlessly demonstrated on television. The cheese trolley, the tarte Tatin, and precisely sauced fish courses recur at the flagship.
