Canon Guide: How This Site Was Written
The rules behind the lore — what's canon, what's invented, and how the guide stays honest. The methodology page for a fictional character.
The canon rule
For this guide, canon means: the app card text ("Tiny chaos, giant heart," 135 chats). Everything else — the Hollow Oak, Bramblewick Garden, the friends, the capers — is original worldbuilding written for this site, presented as story, never as fact.
Consistency rules
- One garden. All pages use the same places and names; contradictions are errors to fix, not mysteries to keep.
- Names are fixed. Crispin, Pip, Bramble, Moss, Old Tansy, the Hollow Oak, Bramblewick Garden — spelled the same on every page.
- Quotes are in-character. The Sayings page collects fictional dialogue and labels it as such; no line is presented as a real-world quotation.
- Small deeds stay on the record. The lore keeps the quiet kindnesses alongside the great capers.
- The boundary stays visible. Every page that tells story reminds the reader it's story.
What this guide will not do
- Invent a creator bio or real-world statistics beyond the quoted app card.
- Present the mockup stream as live.
- Depict real people in generated art.
Corrections
Found a contradiction? A page that forgot the boundary? Note the page and the line — the Hollow Oak door is always open for corrections.
