Fictional persona
Stitchwick is the fan-written home of violet stich and her fellow stitch creatures: a cozy, crooked town where everything is sewn, patched, or pinned. By night, it is hers.
The Loft — her workshop above the button shop, window facing the moon. Smells of lavender and warm cotton.
The Moonlit Worktable — scarred oak, crosshatched with pinpricks, drawer that sticks in humid weather. Half the town’s troubles have been told across it.
The Pincushion Garden — tomato-red pincushion flowers with silver-pin stamens, blooming behind the loft. The gate is always unlatched.
The Night — violet’s true territory. Moths, moonlight, and the quiet hours when worries surface.
Stitchwick runs on a simple economy: buttons are currency, favors are savings accounts, and a midnight fitting is priceless. The town motto, stitched above the Loft door, reads: “Mended, not ended.”
