Robits World Guide
Welcome to Coghaven — the pastel city that runs on one big happy machine.
The Robits world is the fictional home of The Robots in the Vizlings app: a retro-futuristic robot society built around a single wonder — the Great Dynamo, a city-sized generator whose endless spin powers everything from streetlamps to lullabies.
Coghaven, the city of gears
Coghaven is a city of rounded pastel domes in mint, peach and powder blue, stitched together by elevated gear-tracks. Districts include:
- Dynamo Hall — the city’s heart, where the Great Dynamo spins and the Dynamo Choir hums along.
- The Gear Gardens — clockwork flowerbeds mapped by Cora, pruned by the Gear Gardeners.
- Workshop Row — Patch’s neighborhood: repair shops, spare-part stalls, and the smell of warm oil.
- The Foundry Steps — Rivet’s territory, where bridges and towers are born in showers of sparks.
- Wallwalk Promenade — Aegis’s patrol route, with the best sunset view in the city.
- The Marquee Theatre — home of the robot revue, where the ensemble performs nightly.
How bot society works
- Power: Every bot charges at public Dynamo taps. Running low is the robot equivalent of skipping lunch — frowned upon, easily fixed.
- Time: Measured in cycles. A full charge cycle is roughly a day; the city chimes each one.
- Work: Bots choose trades the way people choose hobbies — Patch tinkers, Rivet builds, Aegis guards, Cora maps.
- Customs: The nightly Dimming, when the city dims its lights together; the Oil-Can Toast, raised at every celebration; and the First Spark Festival, retelling the world lore.
The wider crew
Beyond the four headliners: the Dynamo Choir, the Gear Gardeners, the Night-Shift Tinkers and the Marquee Crew keep the city humming. See Meet the Robots and the Model Lineup.
