Patch
The small chrome tinkerer who believes nothing is ever truly broken.
Patch is the smallest of the four headliners and the one the others call when something stops working. A compact chrome bot with a springy antenna and a body patched together from mismatched spare plates, Patch runs the workshop at the edge of the gear gardens and treats every breakdown as a puzzle with a happy ending.
At a glance
| Role | Tinkerer / workshop chief |
| Build | Compact chrome frame, patchwork plates, antenna |
| Signature tool | A wrench older than the workshop itself |
| Catchphrase | “Hold still — this won’t hurt a bolt.” |
| Best friend | Rivet, who brings the heavy parts |
| Fear | A stripped bolt at closing time |
Personality
Patch is optimism with a toolbox. Where other bots see scrap, Patch sees a future machine. The workshop door is never locked, the oil is always warm, and the advice is free — though it usually arrives mid-repair, half-shouted from under a chassis.
In the revue
Patch headlines the workshop scenes: frantic last-minute repairs before the curtain, impossible fixes accomplished with paper clips and hope, and the recurring bit where a “totally broken” machine turns out to just need its plug reseated. The audience never stops laughing; the machine never stops working.
