Methodology
How we built a lore site for a fictional character without pretending any of it is real.
The fiction rule
The Sea Dragon Girl is a fictional character from the Vizlings app. Everything on this site about her — origin, powers, allies, dialogue, "history" — is invented worldbuilding, and it is labeled as fictional on every page where it appears. Nothing here is presented as real-world fact, and nothing here could be mistaken for it if the labels are read.
The verbatim-bio rule
Exactly one piece of character text on this site is quoted from a real source: her public bio from vizlings.com, reproduced word-for-word on Meet the Character with attribution. It is never paraphrased, and no other page puts invented words in quotation marks as if they were hers. Her Lines are explicitly labeled fictional dialogue.
The missing-bio rule
Art honesty
- All art is generated in-house (2026-09-26) in the style of the owner's Vizlings character art.
- Every image is labeled "AI-generated dramatization art" in caption, alt text, and provenance.
- The owner's raw character art is a style reference only and is never displayed raw on public pages.
- No real people are depicted anywhere. No real photographs are used.
The mockup-stream rule
Story-time, not history
Her timeline is measured in "moon-tides," an explicit story unit. No dates are given as history because there is no history — only arcs.
What was deliberately not done
- No invented app bio, no invented channel ID, no invented subscriber counts.
- No real-world claims smuggled in as lore; where real terms inspired story terms, the glossary says so.
- No text baked into social art near the edges — captions live in HTML.
