Art & Style Guide
The design bible for drawing Nonna Rigatoni.
The look
Nonna Rigatoni is rendered as a 3D cartoon food character in the style of a modern animated family film: a wide ridged rigatoni tube, glossy pasta surface, big expressive eyes, gray hair in a bun under a red headscarf, and a flour-dusted apron over a red polka-dot dress. Her default pose is hands-on-hips; her default expression is stern affection. The wooden rolling pin is part of the silhouette.
Palette
| Swatch | Use |
|---|---|
| Tomato red & cream | Trattoria warmth — checkered cloths, sauce, signage |
| Basil green | Accents — garnish, shutters, the "fresh" note |
| Golden kitchen light | Always — Nonna is never drawn in cold light |
Do / Don't
- Do keep the headscarf tied and the apron floured — she is always mid-service.
- Do label every image "AI-generated dramatization art."
- Don't draw her photorealistic or as a real person — she is a cartoon pasta.
- Don't seat her at an empty table. There is always someone to feed.
