Methodology

The rules this site holds itself to — neutrality, quotation honesty, image honesty, and explicit uncertainty.

1. Living public figure: encyclopedia tone

Marine Le Pen is a living public figure. This site uses a strictly neutral, factual, encyclopedia tone: no endorsement, no attack language, no partisan framing. Adjectives of praise or condemnation appear only inside attributed quotations or clearly labeled characterizations (“her supporters argue…”, “her critics argue…”).

2. Attribution, not adoption

Claims made by supporters or critics are attributed, never adopted as the site’s voice. Analytical terms with contested meaning — notably dédiabolisation — are presented as attributed characterizations from the relevant camp, with the opposing view given alongside. The site does not adjudicate political disputes.

3. Quotation policy

4. Uncertainty policy

Court coverage states only: the charges, the verdict, the sentence, and the procedural/appeal status — as dry fact, with dates. Parties’ characterizations of rulings (e.g., her “political decision” framing) are reported as their characterizations. The site does not predict court outcomes and states the procedural status exactly as of the last verification (September 2026).

6. Image honesty policy

7. Political-neutrality policy

The site takes no position on her policies, her guilt or innocence beyond what courts have decided, or her fitness for office. Policy pages describe the RN’s stated positions with attribution and give critics’ characterizations with equal attribution. The design motif (the “French flame”) is a neutral design element, not a party emblem.

8. Correction and freshness

Procedural facts (especially the court case) change. Each page carries “Source notes” so claims can be re-verified; the legal-case page states its as-of date. Errors reported against the sources on the Sources page will be corrected.
