Methodology

A fictional persona still deserves an honest dossier. These are the rules this site follows — and the reasons.

Fictional persona

The three buckets

Everything on this site goes into exactly one of three buckets:

  1. The card — the verbatim character card description: “The magnetic yet merciless founder of Nightglass Systems.” The only pre-existing public fact about the character. Quoted word for word, never paraphrased as quotation.
  2. The invention — everything written for the dossier: biography, company, products, quotes, interviews, memos, reception. Labeled fictional wherever it appears, via the FICTIONAL badges and page notes.
  3. The real world — which the character does not belong to. No page implies otherwise.

Invention labeling

Narrative dating

Dates in the fiction are narrative dating — story structure, not historical claims. They are labeled as such on the timeline and wherever they appear. The dossier never presents a narrative date as a real-world fact.

What the dossier will not invent

Imagery

All art is generated in-house and labeled “AI-generated dramatization art” in every caption. No real people are depicted. Provenance for every image lives in the image credits on this page. No owner-supplied reference art exists for this character; nothing raw is displayed.
