Frequently Asked Questions
The honest answers: what's real, what's fiction, and what's still to come.
Is Dax Rind a real person?
No. Dax Rind is an original cartoon character from the Fruitopia world of the Vizlings app. This whole site is in-world fiction — invented stories set in that world. No real person is depicted anywhere here.
Who owns the character?
Is any of the artwork real photography?
No. Every image on this site is AI-generated dramatization art produced in-house — 3D-cartoon style, captioned and logged in the site's provenance file. Nothing here depicts a real person or place.
What is Fruitopia?
The fictional valley world the character comes from: a sunlit land ringed by the Great Orchard Wall, home to the fruit-headed ‘juicy folk.’ Start with the World Guide.
Are the quotes real?
They're in-world lines — things Dax says inside the fiction, written for this site and labeled as such on the Catchphrases page. They're fun, not historical.
Is the stream live?
Not yet. The Stream page embeds a clearly labeled temporary mockup video as a placeholder. The character's real channel isn't connected.
Can I use the social pack images?
Yes — the Social Pack images are made for fans to download and share. They're AI-generated dramatization art of an original character; credit the site if you like, and don't claim you drew them.
How can I chat with Dax?
Dax lives as a chat companion in the Vizlings app — visit vizlings.com to meet the character there. This site is the fan reference; the app is where the conversations happen.
Why does the app card description look cut off?
The card text is quoted exactly as it appears on the Meet the Character page — no continuations invented. If the card itself is truncated, the quote stays truncated. That's the honesty rule.
