Art & Style Guide
The design bible for drawing Uncle Penne.
The look
Uncle Penne is rendered as a 3D cartoon food character in the style of a modern animated family film: a golden penne tube with a diagonal cut, glossy pasta surface, big expressive eyes, a bushy white mustache, and round brass spectacles. His costume is fixed: tweed explorer vest, tiny brass compass on a strap, rolled treasure map under one arm. His grin is warm and mischievous — never mean, never smug.
Palette
| Swatch | Use |
|---|---|
| Parchment & sepia | Backgrounds — the world of old maps and journals |
| Leather brown & brass | Accents — the explorer's kit |
| Warm golden light | Always — Penne is never drawn in cold light |
Do / Don't
- Do keep the mustache magnificent — it is load-bearing.
- Do label every image "AI-generated dramatization art."
- Don't draw him photorealistic or as a real person — he is a cartoon pasta.
- Don't remove the compass; without it he's just a tube with opinions.
