Fan Lore & Theories
The speculation board. Every entry below is a fan theory — interesting, arguable, and unconfirmed. The card is still truncated.
Speculation — not canon
Nothing on this page is confirmed. The owner has supplied no bio; the app card ends at “missin…”. Theories are ranked by community support, not by truth.
1. The missing person (most supported)
She’s searching for someone lost in the Fall — family, a partner, a fellow courier. The “her” in the card reads most naturally as a person, and the guarded silence reads as grief with a job.
2. The missing parcel
One failed delivery on a perfect record: a parcel that never arrived, and a courier who can’t let it go. The unsealed-parcel legend and the year she carried the returned parcel are the exhibits.
3. The missing memory
She doesn’t remember what she’s looking for — only that she’s looking. The tally marks as an external memory; the routes as a ritual that keeps the question alive.
4. The missing route
“Her missing” as a place: the way back, or the way out. The Deep Ferry tunnel sketch as the literal map of the theory.
5. The Dispatcher is the answer
The voice on the wire knows every courier’s readiness. What if the Dispatcher knows what Mia lost — and the assignments are a slow, deniable way of pointing her at it?
6. Joss knows
The retired courier logged her arrival and won’t elaborate. The least supernatural theory and the most frustrating: the answer is one conversation away, and Joss isn’t talking.
How to argue well
Bring the card. There’s one truncated sentence of canon — every theory must survive contact with it. See What’s Missing for the confirmed facts, and Community for theory night.
