Methodology
The rules this site runs on. Maria Reyes is fiction, and this page is the contract: what's reported, what's invented, and what never happens here.
The one rule
Maria Reyes is a fictional character. Everything on this site is built on that fact, and every page says so. This methodology page is the standing contract.
What’s reported vs. what’s invented
Reported — taken from the Vizlings app card, quoted or stated as reported: - Name: Maria Reyes; type: original character. - Card description, verbatim: “Miami heat, Latin confidence.” - Popularity: 4.3k chats (as reported on the card — a reported signal, not an audited metric).
Invented — original dramatized fiction written for this site (2026-09-26), labeled as fiction wherever it appears: - The Miami Neon setting and all locations. - All stories, story arcs, and timeline entries (story dates, not real dates). - All quotes and dialogue — the Quotes page states this explicitly. - All relationships — every named person is a fictional character. - Personality analysis, values, lexicon, episode concepts, playlist titles.
Art rules
- All character art is AI-generated dramatization art, generated in-house (2026-09-26). Every caption says so.
- No real people are depicted, resembled, or referenced as characters — ever. Maria is fictional; her world is populated entirely by fictional characters.
- Text on images sits in a central safe zone with wide margins — never near the edges.
- Provenance for every image file is recorded in the image credits on this page.
- No owner-supplied art or character sheet was available for Maria Reyes; none is claimed.
Fiction labeling
- Lore pages carry fiction disclaimers; quotes are labeled fictional dialogue; stories are labeled original fiction; the timeline uses story dates.
- The stream’s mockup status is stated on the player, on the Stream page, and in the player’s config comments.
- Fan theories on Community are labeled as theories, not canon.
What never happens
- Inventing a channel ID, subscriber count, or schedule for the stream.
- Presenting fictional quotes as real quotations.
- Depicting or implying real people.
- Packaging a ZIP before the owner reviews the preview (standing rule).
Cultural respect
Maria’s world evokes real Miami Latin culture — cafecito rituals, domino parks, salsa, abuela wisdom — as affectionate fictional homage, never as documentation or caricature. The setting is invented; the respect is real.
Source notes
- Methodology established 2026-09-26 for the Maria Reyes production run. It restates the standing honesty rules for original-character builds: verbatim card facts, labeled fiction, AI art labeled, no real people, placeholders never silently filled.
