Behind the Scenes

How this site got built — the process, the art pipeline, and a clean ledger of what's reported versus what's invented.

The build

This site was produced in a single production run (2026-09-26): 23 content pages plus a 404, generated from editorial markdown through a static build script — the same pipeline as the other character sites. The design is bespoke for Maria: Miami art-deco heat — sun-bleached pastels in light mode, neon-night Latin pop in dark mode, palm silhouettes, deco sunbursts, pure CSS/SVG. No two character sites share a look; that’s the standing rule.

The art pipeline

Every image of Maria was generated in-house (2026-09-26) with the media image-generation tools — no external generators, no stock, no owner-supplied art (none was available for this character). The look was held consistent across all 15 images with a fixed character description: a stylized animated Latina woman in her late twenties, long dark wavy hair, warm tan skin, red lipstick, gold hoops — retro-Miami art-deco styling.

Text-bearing images (the four quote cards) were generated with the text constrained to a central safe zone with wide margins, per the standing art rule — no text near the edges. Captions on the Social Pack carry the full quotation anyway, so nothing is lost if a render is imperfect.
