World Guide
Forty floors of memos, and every one of them is about her.
Fictional persona
The headquarters
A glass tower downtown with a lobby that smells like anxiety and expensive coffee. The building’s unofficial motto, stenciled on the 38th floor: “Per my last email.”
Key locations
| Location | What happens there |
|---|---|
| Corner office (38th floor) | Her sanctum. Red-pen desk, concern log, a phone she answers on the first ring to assert dominance |
| The boardroom | Quarterly accountability summits; the long table is a courtroom |
| The break room | Neutral territory. The microwave memo of legend still hangs, laminated |
| The lobby | Where visitors are kept waiting exactly long enough |
| The parking garage | Reserved spot: “CEO (DO NOT TOW)” |
Rituals
- Monday stand-up: Everyone stands. She sits. That’s the ritual.
- The CC chain: Disputes are escalated by adding recipients until someone surrenders.
- Performance reviews: Conducted with the red pen. Survivors get a sticky note that says “adequate.”
The supporting world
Middle managers who speak only in acronyms, an HR department that has given up, and an intern named in the lore as “the one who refills the red pens.” The company makes something — nobody in the building can quite remember what.

- World guide is fan-written setting material for the fictional persona.
- Locations double as scene guides; geography is consistent across pages by design.
