Methodology
The rules this site runs on. Written down, so you can hold us to them.
The premise
This site is a reference for a fictional persona: Influencer Ivy, a confidence-coach character from the Vizlings app. A character site about honesty has to be built honestly. These are the lines.
1. Fiction is labeled as fiction
- Ivy is identified as a fictional persona on every major page.
- Her “sayings” are original persona lines, each attributed as a persona line — never presented as documented quotations from a real person.
2. Art is labeled as art
- Every image of Ivy is labeled: either AI-generated dramatization art (in-house ) or original vector dramatization art (authored in code for this site).
- No image is or resembles a photograph of a real person. No real people are depicted anywhere.
- The Vizlings app’s character art is style reference only and is never displayed on public pages.
- See the image captions for credits and context. Illustrated character art is a dramatization.
3. No deceptive money content
- Zero income claims. No screenshots, no revenue stories, no “I made $X” — from anyone, including the fictional persona.
- Zero fake testimonials. No invented followers, no borrowed success stories.
- Coaching timelines are described in honest ranges (“months,” “varies”), never as guarantees.
4. No manipulative tactics taught
- Hooks and growth advice are taught as honest persuasion: curiosity the content satisfies, promises the content keeps.
- Manipulation tactics (fake scarcity, invented social proof, engagement bait, manufactured controversy) are named only to be disavowed.
- The stream page is a labeled mockup — it never pretends a placeholder video is a live broadcast.
5. Coaching is general education, not professional advice
- Confidence and creator content here is general educational material. It is not therapy, not medical advice, not financial or legal advice.
- Pages touching mental health carry crisis resources and direct readers to professionals.
- Uncertainty is stated plainly (“platforms change,” “varies by individual”) rather than smoothed over.
6. Sources are real or they’re absent
- Named references are real, checkable works — never quoted out of context, never fabricated.
- Where the site synthesizes common knowledge, it says so instead of inventing citations.
What “done right” looks like
A reader should finish any page knowing three things: what’s fictional, what’s advice, and what’s unknown. If any page leaves you unsure which of the three something was, that’s a bug — and the fix is more labeling, not less.
