Welcome to Pastalia
The hidden valley where the pasta people live — and where Ricky Macaroni's stories unfold.
Pastalia is the hidden valley the Macaronis call home: a warm pocket of farmland, hot springs, and small towns tucked between the Durum Hills and the great cheese-grater peak of Mount Parmesan. Nobody on the outside has found it in centuries, which is exactly how the Macaronis like it.
The pasta people — penne, rigatoni, fusilli, farfalle, and a dozen other shapes — live in cozy towns where the streets smell of basil and Sunday sauce. Their capital is Al Dente, a hillside city of golden rooftops gathered around the Great Piazza. Its most famous quarter is Little Italy, a warren of trattorias, bakeries, and washing lines strung with red-checkered cloth.
Life in Pastalia runs on three things: family, food, and story. Every household keeps a sauce pot that never quite empties, every child learns the twirl before they learn to write, and every elder is expected to have at least one tale worth telling after dinner. Ricky Macaroni fits right into that rhythm — which is why Pastalia feels like home.
