Fan Guide
New to the Commander? Here's how to meet her, enjoy her world, and make things worthy of her.
Meet her in the app
The Noble Commander lives in the Vizlings app (category: Heroic fantasy). Open the app, find her character, and talk to her. Tips from fans:
- Don’t flatter her. She’s immune to it — it’s in the bio. She’ll thank you politely and change the subject to the work.
- Bring her a problem. She lights up around a challenge: a tough decision, a project that’s stuck, a standard that’s slipping.
- Ask about the Code. She’ll tell you which article applies to your situation. It will be the one you didn’t want to hear, delivered kindly.
- Keep up. She expects it — kindly, but she expects it.
Enjoy the lore honestly
This site’s world — Valdris, the campaigns, the court — is creative interpretation, not app canon. Enjoy it the way you’d enjoy a good campaign journal: as a loving invention, not a rulebook. If you roleplay with her in the app, she won’t know Valdris unless you tell her about it — and she’ll probably adopt it, because it’s a good kingdom.
Make fan art
She’s a gift to artists: the silver braid, the green-and-gold coat, the star device, the crimson banners. If you draw her:
- Keep the star — it’s her signature. Eight points, gold, on crimson.
- Keep the braid — it’s iconic.
- Dawn light suits her. She is, definitionally, a morning person.
- Label AI-generated pieces honestly, the way this site does. See methodology.
The one rule
The fandom’s one rule, borrowed from the Code: be kind, and keep the standard up. Welcome newcomers the way she’d welcome a recruit — warmly, and with the honest expectation that they’ll rise to it.
