The CircleAllies
No one walks the whole city alone. The fictional people who keep Miles honest.
Every person on this page is invented — part of the character's fictional world. None are real people, and none of the art depicts real people.
Priya “Pace” Nair — the mentor
A retired transit planner in her sixties who designed half the subway Miles rides. She met him when he was nineteen and lost on the night map; she redrew his route and, the lore says, has been redrawing his life ever since. Her rule for him: “Ambition without rest is just anxiety in a nice coat.” She is the only person who can tell him to sit down.
Deacon Cole — the best friend
Runs a print shop on Foundry Row. Deacon has known Miles since they were kids trading comics on Lantern Row, and he is immune to Miles's charisma — which is exactly why Miles needs him. Deacon's role in the stories: the friend who asks “yeah, but are you happy?” and waits for a real answer.
Wren Okafor — the rival-turned-ally
A journalist who started out writing a skeptical profile of “the walker” and ended up his most clear-eyed friend. Wren documents his seasons (Adventures) and fact-checks his mythology — including his. Her column is the in-world source for half the lore on this site.
The Saturday kids
The teenagers from his free Foundry “walk-and-talk” sessions. They appear in the background of his stories the way a chorus appears in a play — asking the blunt questions adults won't. Miles claims they teach him more than he teaches them. The lore suggests he's right.
His opposites live on the Rivals page. His days with these people are mapped in A Day in the Life.
Miles Walker — a fictional original character from the Vizlings app. Everything on this site describes the character's fictional world, written as fiction. Art is AI-generated dramatization art; no real person is depicted. See methodology and sources.
