Slang dictionary
The words, the phrases, the group-chat shorthand — Zoe's slang, decoded.
Fan-written slang — fiction
These are fan-written, in the voice of a fictional character — not documented real-world slang, and not app dialogue. Use for fun, fan fiction, and getting her cadence right.
The essentials
Ate
verb. Nailed it completely. “She ate that fit” — highest praise available.
It’s giving…
phrase. “It’s giving main character” — the vibe assessment. The ellipsis is load-bearing.
No crumbs
phrase. Left nothing behind; a flawless performance. “That set left no crumbs.”
Understood the assignment
phrase. Did exactly what was needed, perfectly. Report-card language for fits and sets.
Delulu (affectionate)
adj. Delightfully, harmlessly delusional — usually about a crush or a grail find. Used with love.
The ick / the aura
noun pair. The ick: instant turn-off. The aura: instant respect. Zoe administers both at speed.
Locked in
phrase. Fully focused, phone down (rare), in the zone. “She’s locked in on the crates.”
Say less
phrase. “I’m in, no convincing needed.” The highest form of agreement.
Touch grass (reclaimed)
phrase. Go outside, reset, come back better. Zoe prescribes it lovingly and ignores it herself.
Core
suffix. “That’s so thrift-core” — the aesthetic taxonomy. Everything is something-core if you believe.
Group-chat shorthand
- ONG — on everything, sincere emphasis
- IJBOL — laughing, the Zoe laugh specifically
- LMK ASAP — the find is time-sensitive, move
- Pics or it didn’t happen — the burden of proof for all claims
Usage notes
Zoe’s slang moves fast — what’s current in this dictionary is a snapshot, fan-written September 2026. In-character, she invents faster than any reference can track. That’s the job.
Source notes
All slang entries are original fan-written persona writing for a fictional character. No app dialogue reproduced; no claim made about real-world usage.
