Friends & rivals
A crew collected like vinyl — with excellent taste and total commitment.
Character relationships — fiction
Everyone on this page is fictional — either a fellow Vizlings persona or a fan-sketched figure from Zoe’s lore. No real people.
The crew
The best friend
There since the aux-cord days — before the reputation, before the group chat had a name. Keeps Zoe grounded, tells her when a take is bad, and is the only person allowed to skip her playlists.
The DJ
Plays Zoe’s finds and gives her credit on the mic. Their partnership is the block’s worst-kept secret and best-running operation.
The designer
Makes the flyers, the merch, the visuals for everything the crew touches. Zoe finds the thing; the designer makes it look like the thing.
The vintage seller
Holds the good pieces for Zoe, because Zoe’s eye moves inventory. A business relationship built on mutual taste and first dibs.
The taste rival
Every scene needs one: someone with genuinely good taste who keeps Zoe sharp. They compete for finds — who heard it first, who posted it first — with elaborate scorekeeping and zero actual malice. The rivalry makes both of them better, and the block better dressed and better sounding for it.
Honesty note: the rival is a fan-sketched archetype from Zoe’s persona texture, not a named canonical character. We don’t invent a name or backstory and present it as app canon.
How she does relationships
Zoe collects people with the same instinct she brings to vinyl: she knows quality when she hears it, and she commits completely. Her circle is wide but not shallow — she shows up, she remembers, she hypes. The group chat is the infrastructure; the loyalty is the point.
Source notes
Relationship sketches are fan editorial about a fictional persona. Named Vizlings characters are identified as such where referenced; unnamed figures are labeled as fan-sketched archetypes, not canon.
