Methodology
How this fan guide stays honest — labels, policies, and commitments.
The premise
This site is an unofficial fan guide to “Zarek Dune”, a fictional AI chat character from the Vizlings app (vizlings.com). The owner’s official material for this character, as available to this guide, consists of the name and the app-card description — “desert warrior” — quoted verbatim wherever it appears. Everything else here is built by this guide, and labeled as such.
The labeling policy
Three labels appear across the site. They mean exactly what they say:
- App card (verbatim): wording quoted exactly from the Vizlings app listing — currently just “desert warrior”. Anything with this label is official.
- Fan interpretation / fan-written: lore, legends, trials, combat breakdowns, and voice lines invented by this guide. Useful for roleplay and inspiration; never to be quoted as canon.
- AI-generated dramatization art: every image on the site. Fictional character art made in-house — never official app art, never a real person or real place.
The interpretation policy
Fan interpretation is the whole middle layer of this guide: it takes the one official fact — a desert-warrior persona — and imagines the legend, trials, and voice that fit it. The policy:
- Interpretations stay internally consistent and stay in genre (desert-nomad epic).
- Interpretations are never presented as the owner’s canon or as facts about a real person.
- When official material arrives, it replaces interpretation — and the replaced pages say so.
The honesty commitments
- No invented sources. The guide invents no interviews, no quotes, no channel data, no viewership figures.
- Stream honesty. Until a channel ID exists, the stream page embeds the owner-supplied mockup video labeled as a placeholder, with a visible “not live” label.
- Art honesty. Every image carries an AI-generated dramatization caption; provenance records (prompts, dates, hashes) live in
the image credits on this page. - Update commitment. When the owner publishes an official bio or links a real stream, this guide updates the affected pages within the next revision and notes what changed.
