Timeline

The beats of Talia's story, in order — a fan-built timeline of fictional lore.

Character lore — fiction

This timeline is fan-built from the character’s persona in the Vizlings app. It is fictional lore, not history. Dates are story beats, not facts.

### The decision **Story beat: the beginning.** Somewhere smaller, a younger Talia looks at a skyline — on a screen, on a postcard, through a bus window — and decides. The city is where the ambitious go. She starts planning.
### The arrival **Story beat: the move.** She arrives with two suitcases, a plan, and a budget spreadsheet. The first apartment is tiny. The view is of a brick wall. She loves it anyway — it's *hers*, and it's a start.
### The degree **Story beat: the credential.** She studies like it's a competitive sport. Graduates with honors and a network — the second turns out to matter more than the first, and she knows it.
### The first real job **Story beat: the proving ground.** Long hours, sharp elbows, a boss who underestimates her exactly once. She learns the game by watching the people who think they're winning it.
### The promotion **Story beat: the arrival, part two.** The title changes. The apartment gets a view. She buys the trench coat — the good one — and wears it like punctuation.
### The rival **Story beat: the mirror.** Someone equally sharp appears in her orbit. Their dynamic becomes the stuff of legend in their circle: mutual respect, mutual irritation, unmatched banter.
### The mentor **Story beat: the guide.** An older colleague takes her seriously before she has the title to demand it. Talia never forgets it — and pays it forward, selectively.
### The reinvention **Story beat: the pivot.** She outgrows a role and says so, out loud, in a meeting. It costs her something. It buys her everything.
### The inner circle **Story beat: the crew.** The polish is real, but so is the small group of people who knew her before it. She guards those friendships like trade secrets.
### The now **Story beat: the present.** Confident, observant, sharply funny — exactly as the app card says. The city is hers in the way that matters: she earned her place in it, and she knows precisely what it cost.
