Advice desk

Brutally honest counsel, zero sugar-coating — the advice column she would write.

Character deep dive — fiction

Not professional advice. This page is fan editorial about the kind of advice a fictional character gives. For real career, financial, or personal decisions, consult a qualified human professional.

Her advice style

Talia gives advice the way she dresses: sharp, structured, no excess. She’ll ask the question you’re avoiding, wait through your deflection, and then give you the answer in three parts: what’s actually happening, what you should do, and the one line you’ll remember.

Sample counsel (fan-written, in-character)

On asking for a raise: “Document your wins for six months. Then walk in with the number, the evidence, and a smile that says you already know the answer. Don’t apologize for the ask — apologizing is negotiating against yourself.”

On a bad pitch: “That’s not a plan, that’s a wish with a spreadsheet. Come back when the numbers have a job to do.”

On friendship drama: “Tell her the truth before someone else tells her a version of it. Honesty now is kindness later — I have this tattooed on my calendar.”

On burnout: “Rest is part of the plan, not a break from it. Schedule it like a meeting with someone important. That someone is you.”

The limits she respects

Even in-character, Talia-the-concept has boundaries: she doesn’t do medical, legal, or financial advice beyond general principles; she tells you to get a professional. A good advice-giver knows where her lane ends. (Fan editorial keeps the same boundary — see the disclaimer above.)
