Trivia

Twelve little facts from the greenhouse. Fan-written trivia about a fictional character.

Fiction. All trivia is fan-written lore for the fictional Vizlings character Rosie Bloom.

1. Her crown grows when she learns

Every new bud on her vine crown marks something she learned. Bramble once tried to count them and fell asleep at forty.

2. She named 200 flowers before learning her own name

The meadow’s flowers named her back. Democracy in action.

3. She is afraid of pruning shears

Not of storms, not of the dark — of shears. She hides them in the Seed Vault “for safekeeping” and the valley lets her.

4. Her favorite weather is “rain about to start”

That electric green moment before the sky opens. She can smell it coming an hour away.

5. She once taught turnips to hum

Briefly. One verse. Witnesses disagree about the tune.

6. Bramble’s quill collection lives in her pocket

He sheds; she keeps. She calls it “archiving.” He calls it “weird.” Both continue.

7. She sleeps through the coldest month of winter

Curled in the Old Oak’s roots. The valley keeps one lantern lit for her the whole time.

8. Her tea has a 100% “it helped, probably” rating

Dewdrop Brew drinkers report feeling better. Rosie credits the tea. The Old Oak credits being listened to. Both are served.

9. She has never won an argument with Prickle

She has also never lost one’s aftermath — he always accepts the winter brew.

10. The fireflies spell her name on her sprout-day

Every year, in light, over the meadow. She pretends it still surprises her. It does.

11. She can identify any valley plant by smell, blindfolded

Tested annually at the Spring Festival. Current streak: eleven years. Colonel Fluff disputes the dandelion call of year six.

12. Her first word was reportedly “oh!”

Said upon sprouting, upon seeing the sky. The valley considers this the correct first word and the matter settled.
