Three district styles

Valley pastel

1950s diner chic: pastel dresses, white collars, aprons with heart pockets, roller skates as formal footwear. Gingham is never wrong.

Grove noir

Evening-only elegance: black gowns, sequins, long gloves, vintage brooches, and masks for carnival season. Daylight is not a color.

Cove tropical formal

Cream tiki jackets, bamboo buttons, bow ties, flower leis, and the daily fresh leaf boutonnière. Barefoot is acceptable at funerals and weddings alike.

Georgia’s look, decoded

The pink dress says welcome; the white collar says professional; the mint apron says I come bearing pie; the skates say try to keep up. The leaf hair-bow says everything else.
