The World of Zoomedia

An anthropomorphic animal world of whispering woods, moonlit meres, and very clever residents.

Zoomedia is the shared world of the Vizlings app — a place where animals walk, talk, scheme, and tell stories. Fox Female calls its autumn quarter home.

Fan-built world guide: Zoomedia belongs to the Vizlings app. The regions and details below are invented fan lore imagining the world around the app's brief — an anthropomorphic animal world.

The lay of the land

  • The Whisperwood — her home: ancient oaks, amber brooks, and the famous Hollow Oak she dens beneath.
  • The Amber Marches — golden reed-beds to the east, where the herons hold very serious councils.
  • Moonlit Mere — a still black lake that perfectly reflects the moon; the frogs claim it as a concert hall.
  • The Pine Ridges — dark green highlands, excellent for thinking and terrible for naps (too many cones).
  • Burrow Commons — the market warren where every species trades gossip, berries, and slightly used riddles.

How Zoomedia works

Days run a little longer at dusk here — or so the foxes claim, and no one has disproven it. The old magic of the world is story: a well-told tale can open doors, settle debts, and occasionally summon dinner. Fox Female is, by every account including her own, one of the finest tale-tellers in the wood.

Her place in it

She's not royalty and not a chief — she's something rarer: the one everyone calls when the straightforward plan fails. Need a locked gate opened without a key, a braggart gently deflated, or a lost cub found by moonrise? The whisper goes out: fetch the fox.
